Și luptă pentru menținerea în prima ligă este dură, doar Clermont pierzând contactul cu restul plutonului din partea inferioară a clasamentului.

În Italia, Inter Milano are deja asigurat un nou trofeu în Seria A, în timp ce AC Milan și Juventus sunt sigure de locul în Liga Campionilor. La pândă stau AS Roma și Atlanta, care speră să recupereze deficitul. Puțin mai în spate, Atletico Madrid și Athletic Bilbao luptă pentru ultima poziție care duce în Liga Campionilor. La retrogradare, Almeria și Granada se pregătesc de Liga secundă, dar mai rămâne un loc care duce în Segunda Division cu care sunt amenințate 5 echipe.
Runda din Anglia, din acest final de săptămână este „ciuntită” din partidele din cupă. Cel mai interesant meci le aduce față în față, într-un derby londonez pe Fulham și Tottenham, ultima putând să urce pe loc de Liga Campionilor în cazul unei victorii.
