La Turneul Preolimpic European de la Baku, Andreea a reușit să obțină biletul pentru Paris 2024 după ce a câștigat în calificari cu Tatiana Debien (Franța), scor 4-1, iar în sferturile de finala a învins-o pe Veronika Rjabovolova (Macedonia), prin superioritate tehnică, scor 11-0. În meciul decisiv din semifinale, Andreea s-a impus în fața germancei Anika Wendle, scor 5-4.

Vineri, în prima zi a concursului, când s-au disputat întrecerile pe categorii la stilul greco-roman, cel mai aproape de calificare a fost Alin Alexuc Ciurariu, cel mai valoros luptător român al ultimilor ani. El a atins semifinalele, acolo unde biletul pentru Paris s-a decis în meciul direct cu Jello Krahmer din Germania. Acesta s-a impus cu 6-1 (decizie VPO1).
Pentru reprezentanții acestui sport, ultimul turneu care împarte biletele pentru Paris 2024 este Turneul Preolimpic Mondial de la Istanbul, între 9-12 mai 2024.
