Fotbalul românesc scoate în ultima vreme film după film. Și nu mă refer la cele proaste de pe teren, care par uneori regizate. Vorbesc depre cele din cinematografe. Cu actori de mână a doua veniți direct din iarbă.
Orice mic pas înainte devine un subiect de film. Ultimul lansat aduce în prim plan calificarea tricolorilor la EURO 2024. Poate este bine filmat sau bine montat. Nu am idee, pentru că nu l-am văzut. Dar simplul fapt că prezența la un turneu final este ecranizată, mă face să râd.
Fotbal cu mesaj
Când eram puști, am văzut la sala de cinema un film cu fotbal și război. „Drumul spre victorie” se numea. Și avea un subiect măreț. Victoria împotriva nazismului prin sport. Mai exact, prin fotbal. Cu o echipă formată din prizonieri închiși în lagărele lui Hitler care făcea o minune. Câștiga un meci în fața unei formații germane, în ciuda tuturor piedicilor. Și distrugea propaganda nazistă despre superioritatea ariană, inclusiv în sport.
Distribuția era una fantastică, în frunte cu actori de primă mână. Cu Michael Caine, el însuși fost fotbalist profesionist la West Ham United, și cu intrusul american în soccer Sylvester Stallone. Dar și cu nume uriașe ale fotbalului mondial, ca Pele, Boby Moore, Ardiles sau Deyna. Un film care mi-a rămas în mintea de copil de atunci, pentru ceea ce poate să reprezinte sportul.
Comedie sau dramă?
La mai mult de patru decenii distanță, un alt film circulă prin cinematografe. Tot cu fotbal, dar cu un mesaj mai greu de înțeles. Ce vrea să ne transmită capodopera? Că s-a calificat naționala României la un turneu final. O trecem la performanțe demne de ecranizat?
Nu că nu m-aș bucura, dar să ne uităm la împrejurări. La EURO merg aproape jumătate dintre reprezentativele de pe continent. Pe cele gen San Marino, Liechtenstein sau Andorra nu le luăm în calcul. Și mai și, tricolorii au fost într-una dintre cele mai slabe grupe. Dacă nu cumva cea mai slabă. Au depășit două echipe medii, Israel și Kosovo, și una aflată în criză, Elveția. Sigur, nu au pierdut niciun meci, dar la jumătate a fost mâna norocului. Pentru că jocul a dezamăgit grav.
Mai puțin fală
Dacă despre această calificare se fac filme, cum ne raportăm la cea din EURO 84? Când doar 8 echipe mergeau la turneul final. Iar România a lăsat acasă campioana mondială Italia și deținătoarea bronzului continental Cehoslovacia. Plus Suedia, care a încheiat a doua, în spatele băieților lui Mircea Lucescu. Despre „Generația de Aur” nu mai aduc aminte, pentru că deja s-a lansat filmul. Și pe bune dreptate, pentru că sfertul de la Mondialul din ’94 este cea mai mare performanță din fotbalul românesc la nivel de națională.
Personal, cred că ar fi nevoie de mai multă decență și mai puțină fală. Să sărbătorim când chiar este cazul și să muncim mai mult. Altfel, o să rămânem în derizoriu, pentru că deja se pare că am căzut acolo.
