Pe lângă clasele deja consacrate, revine după absența de la Cupa României categoria competițională, OKJ, destinată piloților juniori cu vârste cuprinse între 12 și 14 ani conform regulamentelor internationale. Câștigătorul Cupei la Junior Rotax, Alex Rad, va fi din nou în lupta de la OKJ, unde anul trecut a ieșit vicecampion pentru a încerca să cucerească titlul de campion național însă marele lui rival din acest an nu este David Cosma Cristofor, campionul din anul precedent, ci fratele sau, Bogdan Cosma Cristofor.
