Profitând de faptul că adversarii abia au revenit din vacanță și nu au pregătirea făcută, Poli s-a impus cu un scor fluviu, 13-3 (8-2), departe de ochii fanilor.

Politehnica Iași a disputat sâmbătă dimineață, în Copou, al doilea meci amical al verii. După 5-1 cu ASF Hărman (Liga a 4-a din Brașov), ieșenii au reușit un scor fluviu cu CSM Pașcani, 13-3 (8-2), vicecampioana Ligii a 4-a a județului Iași.
Trupa lui Tony da Silva s-a impus prin golurile marcate de Goncalo Teixeira (minutele 4, 26), Alin Roman (20, 37), Shayon Harrison (29), Ștefan Ștefanovici (35, 45), Rareș Ispas (40), Vlad Ilie (62, 64), Luca Mihai (67), Guilherme Soares (84) și Carlos Jatoba (87).
Surprinzător, antrenorul Tony da Silva a ținut ca amicalul cu CSM Pașcani să fie secret, cei câțiva suporteri care au aflat de acest joc fiind ținuți dincolo de porțile terenului 2 din Complexul Emil Alexandrescu.
