Concordia Chiajna a început o nouă săptămână importantă care se va încheia cu un meci amical. După un prim test în familie menit, în primul rând, să aducă în lumină jucători tineri, vine primul test serios al verii. Sâmbătă, pe teren propriu, Concordia primește replica Unirii Slobozia, formația antrenată de Adrian Mihalcea care a promovat, în această vară, în prima ligă.

Concordia Chiajna va pregăti doar în țară noul sezon fotbalistic care va debuta, la nivelul eșalonului secund, pe 3 august. Pe 8 iulie delegația ilfoveană merge la Brașov într-un stagiu care cuprinde și trei partide de verificare.
”Gabriel Tamaș s-a asigurat că vom avea la Brașov toate cele necesare pentru un cantonament reușit. Tocmai de aceea am ales să rămânem doar în țară pentru a pregăti noul sezon”, a apreciat Ilie Poenaru. După revenirea de la munte se va intra în linia dreaptă a pregătirilor legate de startul în noul sezon. ”Obiectivul Concordiei este unul clar, accederea în play-off, primul pas în drumul spre dorita promovare în prima ligă”, a precizat antrenorul Ilie Poenaru de care se leagă, acum, speranțele ca șederea Concordiei în eșalonul secund să se încheie vara viitoare.
