TVR Sport va transmite Jocurile Olimpice de la Paris, care se va desfăşura în perioada 26 iulie -11 august 2024, alături de alte canale ale TVR.
De menţionat că postul public va difuza doar parte din eveniment, întrucât drepturile integrale sunt la Eurosport.

În preambulul competiţiei olimpice, TVR SPORT va difuza o serie de podcasturi şi emisiuni speciale, cu frânturi din poveştile unor campioni de legendă. Gabriela Szabo, Marian Drăgulescu, Maricica Puică, Leon Rotman sunt doar câţiva dintre cei care vor destăinui telespectatorilor TVR SPORT amintiri despre performanţele lor.
Rapid – CSM București la volei feminin va fi primul meci transmis în direct la noul post al TVR Sport.
Singurul meci feminin care a mai rămas de disputat în sferturile de finală la play-off-ului este Rapid – CSM București.
Programată de la ora 16.00, aceasta e adevărata finală de calificare în semifinale, scorul întâlnirilor directe fiind 1-1, după ce Rapid s-a impus pe propriul teren cu 3-2, iar „tigroaicele” au trecut cu 3-0 de aceleași adversare în sala „Elite”.
Oferta TVR SPORT mai cuprinde campionate şi competiţii internaţionale de fotbal, volei, nataţie, polo, gimnastică, box, snooker, şah, tenis etc., momente din istoria strălucită a sportului românesc cu şi despre mari campioni, de la Nadia Comăneci la Sandra Izbaşa, de la Ivan Patzaichin la Cătălin Chirilă sau de la Ilie Năstase la Simona Halep.
Canalul de sport al TVR programează, totodată, istorii şi portrete ale unor fotbalişti renumiţi, precum şi ale echipelor din fotbalul românesc.
Dobrin, Balaci, Ozon sau Baratky vor sta alături de Hagi, Mircea Lucescu, Adrian Mutu sau Belodedici la TVR SPORT.
Unde poate fi recepționat TVR Sport?
Gazdele programelor TVR Sport vor fi Eda Marcus, Costin Deşliu, Cristian Mândru şi Tudor Furdui, dar şi ceilalţi jurnalişti ai redacţiei sport din TVR.
